    Again!

News is now on the front page from the BBC.

Thus far, I’m told, that this should have little if any effect on repairs or repairers as most, if not all, are insurance backed.

First Miller Brothers now Powerhouse? Does this mean the rumours are correct in that the trade downturn is biting or are DSG & Comet finally calling the shots?

The eventual winner then taken over by Tesco no doubt :rolls:

THIS TIME LAST YEAR WAS INSTALLING 30+ COOKERS A WEEK FOR POWERHOUSE AS A SUBBY. WHEN THEY DROPPED THE NUMBER OF STORES LAST OCTOBER I STILL GOT DRIBS AND DRABS DIRECT FROM THE STORES LOCALLY CHARGING THE CLIENT DIRECT. LAST JOB FOR P/HOUSE WAS THIS MORNING…..

AH WELL, JUST AS WELL NOT ALL EGGS IN ONE BASKET EVEN THOUGH THE BASKET IS SMALL WITH NOT MANY EGGS IN IT!

2nd time in 3 years … last time it was 2003 but was saved by Pacific Retail … this time its down to “stiff competition from internet retailers and an ongoing deterioration in the UK electrical retail market”
