I have a Hotpoint WMA58S washing machine and need to replace the faulty pressure switch.
The pressure switch installed is C00202402, but it’s hard to find and supposedly no longer produced. According to one other site, the alternative part for this pressure switch is C00112659. Is this the right part?
If it is the right part, then the wiring slots are different, so I need help on wiring to the correct slots of the C00112659.

Normally if it is the alternative to the original then the replacement should just plug directly in.

    Hi,

C00112659 is correct and replaces C00202402, it’s here on our website:

The terminals have the same numbers despite being a slightly different connection so just swap the leeds number for number off the old one 😉

Thanks for the replies. Will get back once I install the pressure switch 🙂

Have to say that pressure switch failure on these is very rare.;)

Thanks. That’s what the tehnician said too. Just before I installed the pressure switch, I ran the component tests (auto and manual). While the manual test passed all the following components, the auto component test failed indicating failure of the pressure switch.

    1. Hot solenoid valve (red)
    2. Pre wash rinse solenoid valve (grey)
    3. Main wash cold solenoid valve (blue)
    4. Pump
    5. Heater (relay)
    6. Door interlock
    7. Motor

I also identified a flickering leakage current. How can I find the leak?
