Asked to look at one of these which is around 4 years old but never been used other than a trial check when it was installed in a house which has been unused since. It won’t turn on or more likely won’t boot up when power is applied. Symptoms are- Apply power, display flashes 0-1-2-3 then beeps and a red light appears beside the lockout touch zone. No subsequent touch sensor attempts do anything. Suspect it’s a bricked control PCB which seems to have everything on it from the touch sensors to the processor, PSU and ring control relays. Any ideas other than the obvious “skip it and get another hob”? Are spare PCBs even available?

    short answer, dont know

Prima appliances are normally made by someone else and rebadged

we need to find out who makes it first

if this unit has been turned on at the wall since installation then look for blown capacitors on the board
