Prima LPR600/1

Machine fills, then the circulation pump runs in about 8 second bursts about 7 or 8 times (with the familiar Askoll death-rattle) then pumps out, gives 3 short then 1 long beep and stops dead. On opening, no flashing of the start light. Is this just a circulation pump failure, or is there more to it? The previous machines gave no fault code for a pump failure and the programme continued. Also, have you seen the price of the things???? 😯

If machine goes through the test program fine and the pump is stop/starting then before condemning the pump I would split it to check if anything is wrapped round the impeller.

The wash pump motor price is a joke on these appliances :rolls:

I went to a Prima D/W today. Same model, Same fault, Same rattle from the wash pump, and I found this thread using search. So I will be quoting for a new wash pump (insert joke here). Does anyone know why a faulty pump should cause the machine to abort the programme and stop? Thanks
