    Hello,

I’ve got a Prima LPR600, 2 years old, (rebadged whirlpool?)
    Numbers: 8545 600 15869
    and 38 0630 008005

It fills and drains ok, but during the wash cycle it’s not pumping nearly enough water through to make the spinny things spin. The motor sounds much “weaker” than normal.

I’ve checked all the places that I’m allowed to check for blockages but I believe everything is clear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated…

    Yes – that looks likely.

Is the bearing replaceable – or am I looking at a new pump?

(btw – I haven’t seen any diagnostic lights some on yet…)

As far as the computer is concerned, there isn’t a fault. If you read the article, you will realise that the replacement unit is completely different – it’s a one time fix and you’ll get no more bother with it in the future.

    Ah!

Is it fairly easy to fit? I’m fairly competent at fixing and replacing things but I’ve never opened up a dishwasher before.

Actually – can it be fitted “in situ” – it’s an integrated machine. Or does it all have to come out…?
