Prima LPR602 Dishwasher

Strange fault has anyone come accross this?

Select any program and start, both drain and circulation pumps start up for about 30 seconds then off for a few seconds, this cycle repeats until the machine is switched off. No water coming into the machine at any time and error code 8 showing.
I presume the error codes are the same as previous Whirpool/Prima dw’s?
Anyone shed any light onto this fault?

sounds like the timer has had it. from the way you describe it there it not much else it can be
if the power supply in the timer was at fault I would expect it to cycle much quicker than 30 secs and all the light would go off with it.

but you cant discount it. I had a miele that would work for 3o secs then die. eneded up it was power supply chip on the board
