Prima LPR720

Just taken a phone call about this machine. A quick forum search seems to suggest it is either Whirlpool or Lux group.

Complaint of overheating on wash, anyone familiar with these machines. ❓

EDIT. Just had a poke around on TDS and it appears it is a Zanussi. Seems to be three different controls systems.

Serial number is 43700046…Type P6497357 😕

Check temperature sensor and if available there temperature selector (as well his wires)…
NTC must have around 18KOhms at room’s temperature…

Washing temperature, length and other settings are memorized at beginning of program… and programmer will advance at washing 40’ I think…

Cheers Adrian, can you identify which type of control unit is fitted to this machine from that serial number, THE TDS disc lists three different service manuals for this model, not actually seen it yet.

I will try… at first looking I have seen VS81 timer

It’s VS80 series hibrid timer …like I’ve wrote above… that’s I see there for this PNC number…
In service documents appears more info but for differents parts… for example can be used other timer but not with other type of electronic…

NTC appears OK, the hot cup of water test seems to confirm it is working. All wiring connections between NTC and timer are OK so I am assuming the control unit is faulty.

Can anyone confirm that 1320558123 is the correct timer for this machine?
