Re: Prima LPR721 Washer Dryer not Spinning
If the timer gets to spin, the water has drained fully and the drum spins up and stops that is normal. The drum will spin up 3 times and stop; then finally it levels out at balance speed ready to spin – then it should ramp up to spin OK.
If it spins up and stops 3 times and then the timer aborts to ‘End’; then the timer unit is faulty. EMW do replacement VS80 and 81 units. You will need the timer numbers off the side label and the rear of the top circuit board to order. Also check the tacho on the rear of the motor just in case the mag has unscrewed and pushed the coil off. And of course, the brushes.
For reference, a Prima LPR721 is a Zanussi in fancy dress, so all parts are basic Zanussi. No great issues there.
