    Hi,

    My fridge seems to have stopped working.

    It seems to start up okay (light/usual fridge noise) but what I assume is the cooling thermostat seems to cut out after a few seconds and therefore the fridge doesn’t get cold.

    Do I need to just replace the thermostat, if so where is a good place to get one from and is it easy to install.

    Or is it something more serious?

    Any advice or tips would be very welcome.

    If it cuts out with a click after a few seconds and then if left for a few minutes tries again to start its likely it is the compressor/motor problem which would be serious.

    Yes, that is pretty much what it does.

    How much is ‘serious’?
