Re: Prima (Whirlpool) LPR602 pumping in short bursts
water metering no. Water would have to flow so prog could detect failure
assuming no fault codes as it just restarts
do the lights on the prog go dimmer as it restarts ?
if yes or even as a try look inside timer pcb to see what sort of power supply it has. if its a capacitor style using a large 1uF of 1.5uF then change it and see what happens
Re: Prima (Whirlpool) LPR602 pumping in short bursts
Replaced PCB only to discover that the combined circ pump/heater was just humming. No blockages and the rotor didn’t seem overly hard to rotate so I assume the motor is just stuffed. Worse still, Whirlpool appear to be supplying (at great expense) separate pump and heater assy as replacements for the original combined unit. Why are dishwashers such unreliable, leaky, electrically frail, piles of junk?
