Had a fight with this today. Got home and checked the book and f11 is OWI. Maybe I should take the book with me.
The motor (I fitted a year ago) capacitor was measuring 3.55 (a bit of a low 4), the ntc 85kohm (kitchen quite posh so about 18 Celcius).
I did try a quick brush of the black grille using a washing up scrubber but to no avail.
Is it worth taking a new OWI with me when I go back? Just what is in it? Could I even damage it by scrubbing too hard?
    Mike.
Edit: Should add that OWI measured 0 ohms across the two connected terminals.

Doh! Mis-read own writing. I meant infinity ohms, i.e. open circuit. That’s with m/c on its side.

Had another look last week. Removed “OWI” and found a diaphragm operated microswitch so it’s obviously not an OWI but something to sense water pressure. Seemed to be intact and switch working fine so put it back.
Anyway, looked at door loom and disp. solenoid, no evident faults there.
Pulled out circuit board and examined for dry joints etc. None found. Re-installed board and tried machine again. This time it started a wash OK. Left it going and told customer to try it for a few washes and report back. She’s been on the phone this morning saying it’ll do a rinse but not a full prog.
I’m wondering about that 85kohm for the ntc. Think I’ll go back and try a Merloni ntc in it’s place and see what happens.
    Any thoughts?
    Mike.
