ParticipantI really need some help my pro action washing machine is over year an a half old . I used it the other day as it came to the last spin it was making way too much noise emptyed it an noticed that the door wasnt closing properly an the seal inside the top part of the door were out of place. I then moved the machine out an found two bolts about inch an half with what i could only say was is a plastic cover/ dracket it had fitted into. I know that when purchased there are t travel bolts but they were removed an still have them. I would really like t know if i can fix it or if it could of been a manufacturing fault. Please help.

Front lower counterweight has sheered off the tub. The unit is scrap as the cost of the parts will make it uneconomical to repair.
This fault is common when a unit has been used whilst under loaded.

It is always possible my friend but it is for YOU and you alone to prove it. But, hang on a mo, oh dear no, you can only do that in the first 6 months of purchase. 18 months old now and has reached its normal life expectancy anyway, so good luck with that !

Are you serious? I told it to you like it is but I figured you would be less than pleased at my forthright reply. Honest and upfront all the while but some folks are unsettled by such.
But, I’m pleased to be of help. 😀

I can price it for you to be upset at but I will need the full model and serial number to ensure I look up the correct parts fitted to your unit.

So you have model A105QS purchased from Argos which is the basic 1000rpm spin 5kilo machine they had on offer
Assuming you need just the following and that the inner drum etc. are all good then the spares only are £171.25 plus VAT. Shipping would be on top of this so total price would be around £210 ish to supply the parts only.
Tub front half
Tub rear half
Tub sealYou can currently purchase the latest variant from Argos today for £169.99 including VAT which will give you the same sized machine but with a 1200rpm spin capability a 6kilo Max load ability.
It’s a no brainer to me!
