    Hi

If anybody can help me I would be most grateful.

The element in my Diplomat fan assisted oven seems to have gone to heaven (or hell!). I’ve unscrewed the element but the bleeder doesn’t seem to wanna move. It seems to be attached to a ‘clamp’ that seems to be secured into the back of the oven. Is it possible to remove the element without taking the whole oven out? I can’t believe this is the only option

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Re: Problem Removing Element

Some of these elements are held by nuts fron the back 7mm if I recall. Yes you do have to remove the whole appliance, onto a workmate if you have one, be careful Kitchen fitters are known to skimp on the amount of cable they leave on an appliance. SO POWER OFF FIRST….BEFORE YOU MOVE ANYTHING.

Better still get one of our guys to do it…12 months guarantee(most of us do) and no worries.

It appears two of us were doing our moderating too well Stevel 😳

You had inadvertently posted the same reply three times but all three got deleted by mistake.

Please repost, and appologies for the mess up.

    Re: Problem Removing Element

If a label is not visible in the frame surrounding the main oven door, then the label is 3″ back from the front edge of the top. It means sliding the appliance forward until you can see it, three letters and 3 digits are common.

Any decent electrician will do it for you if your struggling to find a repairer and no doubt we can source (we is you Dave 8) ) the element with the model number
