ParticipantHi,
New here, so apologies if this a repeat problem. Please point me at earlier posts if needed.
I have a problem with my Bosch WVT3250gb/01 washer dryer. One day, it started to trip the temperature switch reset next to the heating element on drying. After resetting the part several times, I eventually started to investigate, removing various parts in search of a blockage, including the drain under the drum etc. Finally, I found the blower fan was so clogged that it wouldn’t have been blowing much air. So I cleaned it and it seemed to be working again, but it still tripped the temperature reset. So I replaced said part and it now doesn’t trip on drying.
However, it now blows hot steam out of the soap drawer and is discolouring the front. Thinking that the temperature sensor wasn’t working and it was getting too hot, generating too much heat and not allowing the steam to condense, I replaced the NTC sensor post heating element.
And it still blows steam out. I’ve checked that the U-tube that feeds the cold water in correctly has water in the U but it still bubbles through.
Any ideas, please? I’ve run out of things to look for.
Thanks in advance,
Trevor

Try looking at the water inlet valve and the trickle of water that should go through the condenser during the dry cycle. Maybe it’s just the tap turned off? The inlet valve open circuit? Or the flow pipe/nozzle blocked?

Martin,
Thanks for the advice. Checked the resistance of the solenoid valves and two are 3.5kOhms and one (the blue one) is open circuit. I guess that’s the fault. Looks like I’ll be ordering a new valve block. The blue one looks like it should feed the condenser circuit and there was no water coming through that circuit during the drying cycle.
Thanks again.

Inlet valve is p/no 642211, £44.06 + VAT + delivery. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get things moving for you.
