problem with cda cw496

hi everyone, hopfully someone could shed some light on this problem were having with our dishwasher

its been playing up for the last few weeks, basically, this is the problem:

when you switch it on, there is no power, if you switch it off and move the dish washer forward, somtimes by a 1cm or by 2inch and try to switch it on again, it will work

somtimes it works first off and starts to wash, but only to stop during its cycle

its now got no power, can anyone shed any light on this please?

Hi

Check the mains connections at the rear and also the plug to,we have found so many that have been pushed back and the plug has melted into the rear insulation of the dishwasher.
