    I have an Indesit Ceramic Hob (electric) model RI161C. It has started to switch itself off after about 20-30mins of cooking and cycling through error codes on the touch panel. Switching it off at the main.fused switch and turning it in again later seems to reset it. Any ideas of what could be wrong?

    is it showing an error code or does it show lots of them ?

    It cycles through ‘0’, ‘1’ and ‘E’ on the touch panel.

    well fault 01 comes up as IO button failure

    no idea what they mean by that

    Could be the touch module but that’s about £150, it’s an all in one integrated thing and you need the product code of the hob for it as there’s several versions.
