Washing machine dropped out and beeped continously a few days ago.

The tub is full of water now – starting it again causes it to give up and beep after a few min. Getting the error codes 66 and 67 when it fails.

BTW – had a circuit breaker go in the same week. i _think_ it failed on the first wash after that.

    Appreciate any help!
    Thanks,
    Russ

67 isn’t a valid code. 66 is to do with water level control – the sensor is out of range.

I think I’d start with the obvious first……. Tripped breaker and no drain would suggest a pump problem.

    Thanks for your help..

The machine is still full of water, so I advanced it to spin.. it ran for a while then dropped out with a 105 error.

Searched the forums for that – and it also suggests the pump. I’ll try access the pump on the weekend.

Hi, how do i get at the pump to check the wires? I.e. where is the pump located? Do I just remove some screws to get at it?

    Thanks,
    Russ

Plug out – pump is part of the live supply to the pcb.

Lean the machine back to a good angle. The pump is mounted directly to the bottom of the drum unit and is a twist fit to remove. It should read about 33ohms if in good condition. Check for any signs of leakage – you’ll see soap streaks. Also check the area where the wiring turns under the drum – chafing and breakages do occur.
