    Hi guys,

Bet you thought we’d fallen asleep on the AC thing, well guess what…. we didn’t.

We have a problem witha repairer on repairs@, he’s taken £60 callout for a job and not gone back to fit the part. Of course the customer is not at all impressed quite rightly. Phones are answered all the time with an voicemail message stating to call back in office hours, during office hours.

So, it’s Concept Services in Brum, does anyone known if they’ve gone titsup or not?

Have you got an address and I will ask one of my engineers to drive by and check if he is still open for business?
also what is his username on the site?

unhappy_customer wrote:I have still not had any calls or correspondence regarding this. I have tried the number below but all the times/days I have tried there is only a recorded message saying their lines are closed and to ring back during their normal business hours. These hours are not specified in their message and there is no facility to leave a message. I have rung in what I would consider normal business hours.

    Address (Concept)

    Suite 1
    Commerce house
    High Street
    Sutton Coldfield
    B72 1AB
    0870 892 1601 – permanent message service

Kevin and I have been to visit them before but that wasn’t the address we went to, that was in the middle of Brum somewhere.

Username I can’t give you John. It’s times like this that my policy on privacy works against me, but tough really, I have to uphold the privacy that is promised.

    However, the company is:

    Concept Service Ltd
    Suite 1
    Commerce house
    High Street
    Sutton Coldfield
    West Midlands
    B72 1AB
    Email: service@conceptservicegroup.co.uk
    Phone: 0870 209 0040
    Fax: 0870 209 0039

Sean is trying to see what he can find out for now, hopefully we’ll know more later.

For now the account on repairs@ is marked as “on holiday” as Dave and I agreed that there is no point in sending more customers to a company that can’t be arsed to even answer the phone let alone deal with a complaint. Maybe that’s harsh, but too bad as this has been dragging on for a couple of weeks now and even Dave couldn’t get an answer.

    Re: Problem with repairer

I have left a message with Jim Lawrence for him to ring me as he used to be their commercial manager. I know he is no longer with them but he might at least have a number that we can contact them on.

    Re: Problem with repairer

    Something’s been done anyway 😀

After all this time and without any explanation for the delay they rang today and said they are coming to fit the part next Wednesday! If you have triggered this then I am very grateful. Although I can understand if the part was difficult to source,I do think from 27th January to 9th March is an unreasonable amount of time to be left without any communication from them.

Who did what please as it wasn’t me directly ?

    Dave.

    Re: Problem with repairer

Spoke to Carl yesterday on the way down to the meeting and he said that the original job was not in the name of Gill but the partner.

He also said that it was a special order from electrue which was out of stock and that he had left a message with the partner of Customer Gill
which he believes was not passed on. He was collecting the part in person yesterday as he atended the meeting at CDSL. I see from the previous post that the call to complete the repair has already been booked.

Further to that he has given us his personal direct number ( For our use only, he stressed) if there is any other problem in future we wish to enquire about. 0121 2880679

I’m sure we are all only too well aware that messages do not get passed on and that there are occasaions when there are protracted delays in obtaining spares especially from CDSL as before now my lads have turned up to jobs only to be greeted with the fact that the appliance had been exchanged in the time it took to aquire the spare.

Sean, give David a buzz will you.

We’ve had another one almost exactly the same from the same company that FFR passed to them. 🙁
