    Hi,

Machine is a Bosch Clasic Exxcel 1100.

Problem: During cycle, programme will stop, spin light blinking, machine hasnt drained.

So, this happens intermittantly, sometime the machihe will work fine, sometimes it will stop as I described.

Only way to continue is to empty machine using black Tube. Once empited the machine will spin fine, the drain cycle also works, the impeller twangs fine.

What I have noticed is that the machine doesnt have a filter, by that I mean, when I unscrew the petrol like cap I can see the impeller..that is, there is only a cavity and nothing there. So I assume that there is actually no filter.

The thing is, is it possible that something is moving around in the machine, like a coin or something, which is causing this problem intermittantly?

Assuming a foreign object is boucing around in the machine somewhere, is it plausible that I can easily find it if I open the machine or should I just get someone?

    Thanks

It might be a lazy pump which works when it feels like it. If there was a coin obstructing the pump you should be able to see it when you drain it manually then remove the inspection cap. To renew the pump you may need to gain access by removing the cabinet front.
