For whatever reason, after going through a full/quick/rinse cycle the water isn’t draining from the unit, it is sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher.

There appears to be no blockage in the waste pipe, around the filters.

Any suggestions on what could have caused it?

Are you sure it is not an E12GB ?

If you remove all of the filters and look down into the sump, at about 8 o’clock you will see a small ‘L’ shaped piece of plastic held in by a single torx screw. remove this and you have access to the drain pump impellor.

Watch your fingers, it is very common for the pump impellor to be jammed by a small piece of glass, it could be something else blocking it, a piece of bone, plastic, wood, sweetcorn etc.

As Jim said, remove that cover and what I do is then put machine on cancel or a drain programme.
If any foreign object is present in the drain area, it will usually fire it out.
Open the door after a 5 secs of drain and carefully locate the offending debris within the cavity.
