    Every few washes (on various programmes) we find the cold water feed coming in doesn’t shut off, just keeps pumping water in, any ideas?

    More than likely a sticking valve IMHO.
    When it carries on filling, does turning the electric off to the appliance make any difference? If it carries on filling, then sticking valve for sure, if it stops, probably a gunged pressure system 😉
