Help please- I have an approx 16yr old New World built under oven and separate grill model CKG21515WH which has worked brilliantly til 3 nights ago- oven on and suddenly stopped mid cook- light display in clock was blank and gas supply stopped- grill and separate gas hob working fine.
I presume that it is the clock that is likely to blame- 1) is it easy to fix?
2) who do I get to fix it?- have tried some local (glasgow ) gas appliance repair people but they wont touch electrical parts and have also tried some electrical people who wont touch it if its gas !
thanks for any help.
Have worked on thses YEARS ago…..dont always suspect the clock as the fan control board was a common thing on these…you should have a service manual that came with the appliance…but dont try it yourself……the repairing engineer will need it…..when i worked on these i was working for indest/ariston/newworld…….try them 1st for a repair agent….They are now Hotpoint/creda/indesit as far as i know….new world was taken back by stoves!!

Can still get them if you look hard enough, I’ve found a few in stock on the net in just a couple of minutes searching…….. I wouldnt repair it though if it were mine.
