I am having problems with my IGNIS ADL 349/A/1

The following scenario is typical to any of the wash settings I put it on.

The machine starts to fill with cold water, sits idle for a couple of minutes making the odd sound like it’s doing something. Then it just simply drains out the cold water and beeps 4 times. 3 short beeps, then one long beep. Cycle finished. Total time from start to finish around 4 minutes

    • I have run test cycle, 5 flashes then pause
    • I have also tried hottest wash cycle, 5 flashes then pause
    • I have cleaned the filters and made sure the spray arms are connected correctly
    • I have removed the spray arms completely and re-run rest cycle, same result. 5 flashes then pause

I understand 5 flashes indicate a spray pump fault, either blocked or motor fault? How do I know if it’s the motor or a blockage in one of the spray arms that I can’t see or get too?

I do note when running the rinse test cycle although the cold water feed in definitely supplying water to the unit, it DOESNT actually spray the water in to the unit. The only water making it in to the cleaning area of the unit is trickling through a round hole in the unit half way up the left hand side. Is that indicating something is wrong with the motor?

Can anyone give me some advice please? Including any idea of the likely cost to repair?

    Regards

If you have run it with the spray arms off and it still does it then it’s prob the wash pump that is at fault. (not uncommon) It’s around £200 for the part if that is the case.
