No, the problem is getting the money out of them for a return :tomato:
I find, with a return, they organise an uplift with DSL (usually the next day) and it always happens for me 😕

We wait weeks for can numbers and then weeks for the returns to be picked up.
When I complain it all suddenly gets done, shame I have to complain every time I have a return.

Well today our connect rep arrived have always got on with the fella but after today we’re fed up.
Have waited over 10 week for returns,(this has been a common problem for over two years) asked rep whats going on basically he said it wasn’t his area or couldn’t give me an answer . So asked who to speak to, he said customer services wasn’t happy with that as me and the other lady in the office have rang them over and over again and nothing happend. We then asked for someone else to speak to ” I can’t tell you that” was his answer.The main response from the rep was “no one else has this problem” as if to say we are the ones being awkward.
So this is my reason for the post I want to see if anyone has had any similar problems to prove we are not being funny.After today we are seriously considering to jack connect in but need to find another spare firm that can do next day delivery.

I have been waiting 4 months keep phoning and emailing, keep getting queries answer them then nothing start all over again, now they tell me I have left it to long? This happened with the last lot and it was nearly 6 months about £1400.00 at the end before it got collected though payment was very quick.

A quote from the Connect website “The company remains a private family owned business with great emphasis placed on quality principles and customer service levels.” Im sure the “family” owners would be interested in the flippant dismissal of your query, now if only we had that contact information 😈

Well since I posted my comments they are picking up tomorrow, I find the rest of my business with them very good, though Dave Parker doesn’t return calls though might be a good sign.

And to follow that, today had a call to say picking up tomorrow items we asked for return yesterday. Now that is a 1st. They’re even picking up last weeks too.

If it’s a positive move from Connect after reading these posts (which they do) then great 😀
Personally, as I visit a PO every day I ask for the freepost address and deal with it that way by getting the CAN from them and boxing any returns but that’s not convenient for everyone obviously…

Well they didn’t pick mine up today phoned at 4 pm to say they hadn’t emailed us can number and will do it tomorrow, lets see!

I don’t return much stuff, perhaps 3 or 4 lots a year but I’ve never had a problem either with getting them collected or receiving a credit note. I find they ignore emails so you do have to ring but they give me a returns number straight away over the phone. On the other hand, I’ve only seen the rep about twice in several years of purchasing from Connect.
