Anyone know if WMA boards can be re-programmed to fit a wider range of models than the one it was originally fitted to?

If so a list of model numbers and the correct programming sequences would be much appreciated.

Every WMA board will fit several different models, all listed on the sheet that comes with the PCB.

AFAIK you cannot fit and programme a board that is not specified for a particular model.

    Thanks Jim

Had to configure a board yesterday supplied by emw.

This was achieved by putting the board into programming mode and then refering to a chart to turn the dial through a sequence of letters and button presses to ‘program’ the board to suit the particular model (version 1 or 2) i was working on.

This got me wondering if all wma boards could be programmed in this way to suit a variety of models.

    I carry a 1604321, 1603828 & a 1603557.

Those three PCB’s cover around 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} or more of the WMA/WMT/WWH/FEW/WA/F range of machines.

As some machines have 2, 3 or five option buttons they are not interchangable between the different groups but every board will fit several different models.

    Jim.
