Proline DW 6006 Dishwasher sticks toward end of cycle

This machine is about 2 years old… been working fine.

Now though it gets through cycle to about 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} and just sits there. That part of the cycle the water is being sloshed around and it just keeps doing this.

On this machine the cycle starts with the dial at 12 o’clock and ends at 8 o’clock…. it is sticking at 5 o’clock.

If I advance the dial in stages manually the sloshing stops but I dont hear it emptying and when I open the door the bottom is full of dirty water.

I’m looking for clues on what to check for.

Possibly a blockage somewhere bigyin.

Check the point at which the waste hose connects to the drain, probably a spiggot on your sing trap, blockages can occur here.

Other than that, it’s probably an engineer job as the pump may have failed, someone here should be able to assist with this if required, just let us know your postcode.

There is no blockage between machine and drain… checked it.

Water appear to run out of the machine ok… so ther is no internal blockage.

I’ve lifted the machine up and on its back, taken the bottom plate off and look around the workings. Everything appears newish and no obious problems. Looking at it though it looks simple enough to fit a new pump.

Where would be the best place to get one from… or shoul I put that question in another part of the forum ?

No, here’s fine.

As this was made for Comet it could be one of a few manufacturers, despite a few checks I can’t find it listed anywhere 🙁

A picture of the pump would be useful if you can email it to me.
