Proline EF6400SS Cuts Off Power While Operating

Hi There,
I have a Proline 6400SS Oven which heats up and then cuts off all power. It will then come back to life a little later.

Is this a safety switch shutting off power when the unit overheats?

The fan seems to work (it’s turning). The door seal is broken at the bottom so there may be some heat eascape. Does this need replacing?

Also there is not much venting space left around the unit (it’s flush-fitted into the cupboard. Is this a problem?

almost certainly the safety cut out situated on the back of the oven cavity

however, this could also cut in if the main oven stat goes faulty, as its there as a fail safe

if your gonna investigate, make sure its unplugged!!
