PROline IDW12P-U not draining

Hi,

My dishwasher has stopped draining and I’m trying to figure out what the problem may be. If I turn it on (having manually drained the water away first) then the dishwasher fills, runs for a while and then stops. The error code according to the manual appears to indicate a bent drain hose or the hose is too high. The position of the hose has however not changed since the dishwasher was installed just over a year ago. I can manually drain the water away into a bucket by lowering and raising the hose so there doesn’t appear to be any blockage. Also the water in there is hot and if I don’t drain the water away and start the machine it does not start at all but just displays the same error after a couple of minutes.

Does this definatley point to a faulty pump or could it be something else? I would really like to know before I order a spare part.
