My DW just went bang when it was about 3/4 of the way through its cycle. The RCD light on the wall plug has gone out and the dishwasher stopped. When I reset the RCD and switched the power back on, it made the same explosion noise.
Any ideas what this might be or is the DW dead? It’s only two years old. Is the problem likely with the DW or the wall plug?
Many thanks, it was a really loud noise and I’m quite worried now!

It will have been leaking into the undertray (they all do it), and now something electrical has got wet. Covers off to find out what, so power off, please.

Thank you very much for your speedy reply. I will make sure it is unplugged before I investigate.
If something has got wet, is it just a case of drying it out?

Hopefully……….. main thing is to find the leak!
You’re not using tablets in it, BTW? These little table top jobs don’t need anything like that amount of detergent and can froth like crazy as a consequence.
