    My Proline TDC6A condenser dryer stopped producing heat. I have taken the back of and determined that the thermostat has blown.

    There are two, side by side. The one on the right (as you look at the rear panel) is the one that has blown and is distinguished from the other by a blob of white paint. These are likely not the original parts as I have had the unit repaired before.

    The replacement kits I have seen have one stat marked with a green spot and one without.

    How do I tell which goes in which position (I know I have to replace both) – does the green spot one go on the right (as you face the rear panel) in the position of the one with the white blob (which is the one that went open circuit).

    Green spot goes on the left. Make sure you’ve got the right kit
