received a renewal quote of e540 for pub liabillity,multi peril ins.this comes with a e500 excess.thinking a little on the dear side.no previous claims.wondering do any of the irish lads know of a good alternative company or a Uk company that will quote for Eire.(no gas work involved)paul

Have you tried Quinn Direct? I’m from the up North, my public liability for 5 million cover working North & South is just £150

thanks Seamy.i will ring them direct in morning.i know the broker i use got a quote from them in and around the e560 mark.i know brokers take a cut but im pretty sure its not that much.the excesses just seem too high as well. i think you are getting a far better deal just by living that side of the border.my cover is for 2.6 million as well.paul

had to stick with fbd for e540.applied to a few places and they never got back to me.its a ridiculous ammount of money to pay considering what Seamy is paying north of the border.you have to have it though.let me know how you get on.paul
