pulsing when filling

Hi, can anyone help please have a small Bosh dishwasher….
Once turned on to start the water filling the dishwasher isn’t flowing in well.
Rather than a constant flow through the inlet pipe it seems to pulse. eg. the water comes in for a second then stops for a second etc etc.
While it is doing this, the water inlet pipe is juddering around.
It also doesn’t wash the things in the dishwasher.
I am no expert but I have been told this could be the water inlet valve playing up?
Could this be the case?

we really need an Enr number to have an idea of which system is used

if its an early one then blockages in the left-hand side where the water comes in can cause this

Ok thanks, the dishwasher it at my partners home so ill go and find the Enr number later today

if it is early its likely the number is on a see through label on the silver part of the door at the top.. you have to look fo it as its almost invisible
