Not the answer to every to every situation, But I have used this pump 3 times this month and have emptied the machine in minutes and not a drop on the floor. It doesn’t work when the outlet hose exits from the top of the cabinet i.e Bosch or presumably if the filter is totally blocked, But If the machines tight under the unit and the water level is above the door its a useful piece of kit.Goose

Have an old Rowenta wet vac a customer abandoned years ago which is in the van permanently,can pull water out through the drain hose until water level is below door and then pull directly from inside machine,holds a good 3 gallons or more.Plus it completely empties the sump so virtually no water when hoses removed.
