pump not working

Hi new member here
i have a hoover HNL71463D wash machine that is not pumping/energising
i replaced the pump with a new one that i know is working, there are no blockages, and the pump is not being activated when put on spin or drain cycle
any help please cheers

pump not working

Strong possibility that the old pump has blown the main pcb. Did it have signs of water damage on the old pump.

Thanks for replying I don’t think there was any water damage, but when I removed and looked at pcb I did notice one of the small black microchips bad a small piece missing? So I suspected that might be the problem but I wanted to check for any other possabilitys
