I have found maddocks to be brilliant over the years and even through lockdown they hardly missed a beat, however, I saw connect and Qualtex downgrade service and hike up prices on my accounts once they started selling on Ebay, and Qualtex just put the permanent “out of stock” notice on my account lately, no explanation at all but I know why, obviously they are servicing Ebay customers, I guess the 20 odd years of holding an account and buying from them counts for nothing.
I was looking for Maddocks on Ebay and cannot find them using the seller search or HTM so I am curious to know what name they sell under so I can see for myself seeing that I am spending more time and money buying parts on Ebay. Does anybody have a link to an item being sold by Maddocks on Ebay?

HT Maddocks state on their website they are a trade only supplier so I guess if they are selling on ebay and Amazon it must be through a subsidiary company.

I don’t have a problem with distributors selling direct to the public if it helped to keep their prices down for the trade, but particularly for small orders, that is not always the case, and you can often find a better price and terms from one of their ebay outlets. For that reason, it definitely pays to shop around.

    Ebay?

they switch everybody off i assume. Mine showed no stock, then they got in touch and i started buying again. Although i had mentioned the no stock problem it was not cured till i happened to talk to Jule ( she was one of the original Wash-vac employees from when Qualtex took them over) Oh she said, “try it now” and it all came on

since then i can do normal web ordering
