Hi all. I have been using qualtex brushes for years and for most part i find that they are ok. However i fitted brushes only a few months ago a set of car73’s and car72’s . Both customers rang me this week with a non spin again. Both brushes worn out again. They are both worn evenly with no signs of overheating or burning. A bit concerning because i did a lot of them this year. Anyone else experiencing this? Have Qualtext lowered the quality of the carbon in the brushes?

    ok for car73 I am using C00196539

for car 72 I am using 50265479001 and there is C00194594 for 25p more

yes they are more expensive but I find the brush angle is more accurate so less sparking. Years ago lots of pattern brushes where Morganite a trusted british brand

where poss I go for gen parts. the pattern market is driven by engineers who want to make more and more profit. Cooker elements are the same, unless price is silly quote and fit only genuine parts. saves lots of call backs
