Just got caught with this one.
If I’ve ever needed a part quickly after the weekend I used Qualtex van delivery services. Just got an invoice for carriage (parts were sent by courier) even though I’d gone for van delivery, and it was shown as free.
Apparently to qualify for free delivery now as from the new year orders will need to be £50 and up, so i was told. Can’t find anything on the website though, and just put a pump in the basket to test it and it still shows free when the parts were only £6.99. 👿

    Re: Qualtex van delivery

i thought qtx van delivery was always mininum on £50 even before christmas? in fact i thought it was that way ever since the MAS bit of the tradename was dropped.

although i didnt think it was strictly enforced cos if u were a regular customer (i.,e delivery every week) and most weeks it was over £60 but one week it was less like say 35 or 40, then discretion would be used.

i think a polite “hey ive noticed this unusual charge” should be inserted into your next conversation with your depot’s manager 🙂

    Already been ‘mentioned’. 😉
Nothing they can do about it they say. Pointless service now I would’ve thought with hardly any benefit. That’ll be gone soon then I guess 😥

    Re: Qualtex van delivery

i dunno, i wanted a element asap n/d/d was £7 or royal mail was like £2.

the n/d/d didnt turn up cos it was daftly sent royal mail. customer obviouslynot best pleased and never came for it. so i said to QTX it was your fault not mine and customers gone elsewhere. now i have an element i cant sell. would you liek it back ? we eventually settled on me keeping element without any postage. it seemed to suit both parties as this was a new build where theres a good chance that element will be put to use in another one of the other 23 or so flats!
