Apparently it should be tiled no more than 45 degrees but the delivery man carried it on his shoulder at 180 degrees.
Will it be OK? Should I wait longer to turn it on? Just worried about the apparently very flammable gases?!?

Query on installation of a new fridge / freezer

Just got a new fridge / freezer model Bush BSFF50144 and reading through the guide. It says to make sure that the defrost water pipe at the back of the product is fixed to the plastic evaporating pan on the top of the compressor to avoid defrost water spillage on the floor. Looking at it I cannot find a pipe? Could it be that it is internal or is it missing?

Re: New Fridge / Freezer was carried at 180 degree angle….

If it was carried at 180 degrees then you shoul leave it stand for 24 hours to avoid any chance of refrigerant blockages.

If there is no visible sign of a pipe above the compressor then it may have an internal drain.

Just check in a couple of days to make sure any defrost water is running into the tray.
