Quick Bosch Dishwasher Question

Hi, I’ve aquired an old bosch dishwasher model SMS 4452, it has 2 knobs on the front one to select the program and the other numbered 0 – 8 my probably silly question is what is this second knob for?

Thanks for the quick reply, I had already seen that link and hoped I could of downloaded a pdf of an instruction manual but you can only order them and I was wanting to try it out now and see if it works. I’m horribly impatient like that 😉

Probably time delay s/w.

i.e. no.1 is start in 1 hour,no.8 start in 8 hrs time.
