ParticipantCome on guys but you have to admit that our ‘Deutscher freunden’ (German colleagues) are well ahead when it comes to supplying and accessing spare parts information through their website and the very excellent ‘Quick Finder’ software?
All the information is there that you could need, all appliances, all models, full exploded views, current prices, up-dated part numbers, simplistic ordering on-line…..direct from the manufacturers AND (if you arrange a trade account) a darn good discount. Hit the ‘Order’ button and the parts come within 48 hours (often 24).
Why am I telling you this? You already know – right? You figured it out long ago – yes?
Sadly many in the trade (and by that I mean the manufacturers) haven’t sussed out all the advantages of such a system yet. They have their own archaic system of spare parts supply ( sort of 😕 ) in place. The Italian manufacturers are (by comparison) still trying to plait spaghetti for all the use their current systems provide the trade overall.
So especially for them, and in words they can so easily understand, a message……given in the free spirit of comradeship toward our Latin cousins :- “Per favore di controllare questo fuori, lei può imparare qualcosa da esso” 😀 :-

A few important things to add here. Yes the site is excellent but it is aimed at the general public and hence any bod can order parts on it. Therefore prices quoted include vat and p&p so if you are an account holder, dont go over quoting your customers and loosing jobs. The other thing which i have never been able to do is to build an order over a period of time, if someone knows otherwise please tell me but I have never been able to save an order (ie log of and that order you were building is gone) unlike the trade oriented Pro corner and, remember to print the order before clicking the final send as you will not find a copy of sent or archived old orders.

Tradeplace.com is the main site for BSH. Also does a few other manufacturers; alas comes with an annual subscription but is up to date and spares are ordered online in same programme.

Like Mr P sugguests, just get the part numbers then give them a ring. hen you can ask for a trade disscount too! 🙂
and their delivery is always prompt, and I’ve notice that they don’t @@@@ up orders, like alot of other spares suppliers do. 😕

Why’s that then? If you have an account you know your discount against retail anyway? Availability is the only issue though as that is never guaranteed, even if you ring, so don’t hold up on that one! Instead get your customer to pay at least a deposit for the job then if the motor takes 3 weeks to arrive…what the hell, its not your fault!
