I am about to buy a range cooker 110 cm is the width I need and would like opinions as to which one to buy? and what to avoid! I have seen a few and am willing to spend upto max £3,000. It must have feet and glass doors.
I have heard storys of the dials on some melting from the heat of the oven and want to make sure it doesn’t happen to me.
    Can anyone advise.

    Thanks

If you have got £3000.00 to spend then I would absolutley recommend a mercury range cooker.

Another good choice would be Britannia.

The majority of their range cookers have an ‘A’ rating for energy efficiency. 😮

To be fair the Rangemasters I’ve seen have been pretty much okay, they can have problems and are nowhere near the quality of Mercury but in the main, okay IMO.
