11yr old Falcon Continental SS U108770-01 serial 8361001011. Inherited it on moving. One ring clicks on off madly and now v difficult to settle with gingerly turning the knob. Previously could settle it. Will settle eventually but can just click on for no reason. Several Xs a day. Partic when range warm. Affects TV pic when clicks on! Now another ring beginning to do the same. They work ok to heat and stay on chosen setting. One different rear ring tho will only come on hot regardless of setting.
Have cleaned the knobs and also switched oven off at wall for 20mins a couple of times with no improvement.
Sound like a PCB gone or something? What cost to fix if so? Shaftesbury, Dorset.

    Thanks.

Fixed clicking by replacing the switches or ”energy regulators’. Had to dismantle the glass top, rings shelf, metal separator shelf before gaining access. Easy after sussing access.
Oddly the 2 LH rings are controllable if we use 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} iron pans and not the cheaper sort with steel bases only…
