    Re: Rangemaster 110 Fan element

Remove inner rear panel of oven cavity to reveal the element. If you can see screwheads, you fit the element from the front. If you see hex heads, the element will be retained by nuts from the rear.

As you have said, power off……….

The element is screwed in from inside the oven cavity but you will most likely find that as you pull the element forward the connections will come off the back as the holes in the cavity arent big enough to cope with the connectors. This means that once you’ve changed the element from inside youll then need to pull the whole cooker forward to access the back panel screws & reconnect. Not too bad a job just a pain when you have to drag the whole cooker out.

    yeah your right Farmboy,
I removed the screws from the element but it did’nt move so i pulled the cooker out, once i had the back off(only about four screws)and a bit of wiggling the element came out 😀 .
Put the new one in  and now the oven heats up fine.
Thanks for your help lads

    all the best
