Rangemaster 90 (6432 150165) Ceramic Hob

Good evening,

Wondering if anyone can assist with a problem on the above hob?

Essentially, the hob/hob hot lamp remains lit permanently for the right hand hob.

Evidently the customer heard a popping noise, accompanied by the hob tripping out.

However, although the hob in question still works and can be controlled, the light remains lit permanently.

There isn’t anything obviously burned/damaged, and I don’t have much experience on range ovens so wonder where I should be investigating further?

Hi Jonty, I would check the limiter on the hob/element. I had one recently that caused the same problem.
