    Help.

    I’m trying to change the grill dual simmerstat,EGO 50.55073.010 with a DH 48ER101C1P.
    I have checked the Diamond H chart pdf but can’t work out what to do with the purple wire that goes to 4A on the original EGO stat.
    The pdf chart also shows ‘Load 2 to’ 2A but there is no 2A terminal on the actual stat.
    Confused.com

    Any help gratefully received.

    Fit an EGO replacement – I’ve had little success over the years trying to convert EGO to Diamond H. Internal switching is not the same. I’m sure some will say it’s possible; but I’ve had a few blown trips in the past to prove it’s not worth trying. Readily available as ELE4114 on Connect for a fiver…..

    That was the route I chose in the end.
    It stinks when they use different labeling.
