    Without a model or better, serial number, nobody will be able to look that up for you.

    On the models I have seen it’s the night sensor. I have picked a random manual and it states “This night sensor function saves energy by switching the lights inside the refrigerator off if there is sufficient illumination in the room”.

    Looks like you need an engineer.
