Rangemaster hood instalation?

I heard a little rumour the other day, although i’m not sure if i believe the source or not as he’s a bit of a knob.

I’m in the middle of doing a kitchen remodel. The customer wants a rangemaster hood installed, never installed one before but i would have thought pretty standard cooker hood instalation.

So this guy says to me the other day, that i need extra supports for a rangemaster as they tend to be heavier than the average hood.

Now this sounds like absolubt rubbish too me, thought i’d better check just incase :rolls:

Nothing in the catalogue nor on the website I`m afraid, I would contact Rangemaster customer support for the definitive answer on correct installation.
