Just wondering if anybody can lead me in the right direction to get this oven apart to change the main oven thermostat?

Try and avoid writing two separate threads on the same subject. What are the symptoms that make you think the thermostat is at fault?

ok.

oven element comes on but doesn’t cut out. no tell-tale click when you rotate the knob. chicken was cooked in 20 minutes 😉

OK, next question, being as it appears you do indeed need a new thermostat you will need to provide the FULL model number and serial number for the correct replacement.
