    Customer has a Rangemaster Professional Plus 90 FSD and the element is heating up when the switch is not on. The fan also runs at a slow speed and when switched on remains running at the same low speed. Any ideas would be welcome.

    there may be one or 2 faults here so I would tackle one at a time

    you don’t say which element is causing a problem but the chances are its the control unit behind the knob that controls that element that is most likely faulty

    Thanks Dave I thought it might be that I will access the switch and test to see if it is faulty.
