    hi,
the display on the cooker is not lighting up so you cant put the oven on.
i called out late today and didnt really have time to rip it apart.
am i right in assuming its the timer?

    Nope

is all the other parts of the cooker working ?

Common for the relay wire to heat up and just come off.

i had a look on connect and there isnt one listed but it might be worth checking although i will need a crowbar to get the cooker out of the space its in.

Check the terminal block, U clips may not be tightened correctly

As Jonah said…but there is usually a direct feed from the terminal block to the timer….so if it isnt the terminal block it will more than likely be the timer!!

P.s ask the customer for the instruction book….wiring diagram is in the back!
